ConnectND

ConnectND is North Dakota’s implementation of PeopleSoft, the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software used by the NDUS to efficiently manage mission critical business functions.

Core Technology Services (CTS) supports Human Capital Management, Financial Management, and Campus Solutions for the 11 institutions of the North Dakota University System, the System Office and CTS.

The NDUS CTS PeopleSoft Executive Steering Committee charter provides the governing framework for PeopleSoft. The PeopleSoft Executive Steering Committee advises the NDUS PeopleSoft staff and the customers they serve. The committee makes recommendations on initiatives, priorities, and policies/procedures and then reviews the alignment of resources in order to meet those recommendations.

PeopleSoft User Groups

ConnectND strives to be a user-driven organization. A number of committees help make that happen at operational, tactical, and strategic levels. Multiple user groups advise the directors of Human Capital Management, Financial Management, and Campus Solutions about operational use of the software to improve business processes. Three primary user groups include:

HCM Users Group

The HCM User Group is open to all centralized users of the HCM systems – those in campus HR, payroll, budget and affirmative action/equity offices of the Human Capital Management systems. The group meets periodically at the call of the chairs to discuss human capital management issues. They also prioritize outstanding development or technical requests.

Financials Users Group

The Financials Users Group is open to all centralized users of the financial systems – those in campus accounting, budget, grants/contracts and purchasing offices. The group meets periodically through conference calls at the call of the chair to discuss Financials system issues. They also prioritize outstanding development or technical requests.
