The following are the primary documents used on each IT project and are in the order used on a project. Projects are classified into five phases; origination, initiation, planning and execution, monitoring and control, and closeout. Additional information can be found in the menu at the left under Project Management and Oversight and/or in the North Dakota Project Management Guidebook.
The following documents are to be completed and submitted to your campus CIO Council representative for their approval prior to submission to the Office of the CIO.
During this phase sponsors commit, in writing, resources for the project.
