Job Location: Grand Forks, ND

Reporting to the Director of ODIN, the Library Systems/Applications and Web Integrator provides strategic and functional leadership in planning, implementing and supporting all ODIN library technologies and application support services for a wide array of library systems, applications and services. Provides expertise for current library application and other applications that exchange information among ODIN member libraries and/or the North Dakota University System. Assists in providing technical support for ODIN libraries for job processes that support library computer operations that cross all library system modules (Cataloging, Circulation, Interlibrary Loan, Acquisitions, Serials, etc) for ODIN member libraries & staff. Adapts new and existing web tools to improve discovery and access platforms. Provides support for each library’s need for reports, batch jobs, record loading and other similar activities. Works with libraries to troubleshoot library system problems. Works with libraries and other ODIN staff to accomplish web site upgrades, database testing & validation along with other tasks. Develops, supports and maintains web applications. Designs, develops, integrates and maintains the ODIN web site. Sets up all web sites used by ODIN including the Upper MidWest Users Group (UMWUG) web site.

Network Analyst

The Network Analyst is responsible for supporting network functions and services for NDUS institutions and the datacenter. This position has primary responsibility for installation, configuration, upgrades, and support for reliable communication for 24X7 voice, video and data services for the campus. It is responsible for physical asset management and shares responsibility for maintaining accurate documentation. This position works within the network services team, CTS, and with UND campus IT staff to plan and coordinate installation of services, and to troubleshoot, analyze and resolve network connectivity and performance issues. This position works both independently, and in conjunction with team members, using approved and consistent design specifications and best practices that are developed in ongoing collaboration within NDUS and with UND. Along with this position, the network team consists of a network architect, network engineers and analysts. Work is scheduled and performed with general guidance and direction of the manager of Network Services. This position is located in Grand Forks, ND.

Campus Solutions Business Analyst

Job Location: Grand Forks, ND

Reporting to the Director of Campus Solutions, the Campus Community/Admissions/Recruitment Business Analyst is responsible for working with personnel from the 11 North Dakota University System Admission offices in conjunction with all other Student Services offices and campus users from all other modules and appropriate Board of Higher Education personnel in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the Campus Solutions system. The Campus Community and Admissions analyst is expected to take a lead role in projects for which he/she is responsible and to ensure business requirements are defined and met.

Although this is a non-technical position and many business problems have non-automated solutions, the Business Analyst requires a high level of technical aptitude to ensure accurate problem analysis. The Business Analyst is responsible for reviews of potential solutions including making the best use of the current system. This person acts as an effective liaison with technical staff, management, end-users and vendors. This person is responsible for ensuring system user needs are properly represented to technical staff and technical considerations are properly represented to the user community. This dual communication ensures the Business Analyst adequately represents both communities in decision making.

Reporting to the Office of the CIO, the Controller provides services in financial reporting, budget preparation, budget monitoring and all other financial operations functions related to Core Technology Services (CTS). In addition, this position oversees CTS’ coordination with the North Dakota University System Office for financial reporting and auditing. This position is committed to providing the best professional and financial assistance to employees, campuses, and external customers. This role has the overall responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, oversight, compliance and maintenance of CTS financial records; ensuring the timeliness of financial transactions; providing adequate internal controls and preparing financial reports in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and in compliance with federal, state and university system regulations. This position is responsible for providing vision, leadership, planning, project coordination, and management of Core Technology Services financials, budgeting and audit functions. This position is responsible for analyzing and directing all functional related activities within the financial component of the PeopleSoft/Oracle System. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional financial services.

The Financials Business Analyst is responsible for working with personnel from the 11 NDUS institutions, System Office and Core Technology Services personnel in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the PeopleSoft Financial systems. The Financial Business Analyst provides functional expertise for the development, implementation, and support of the financial software system to support NDUS business objectives. This is primarily a business, not a technical, position supporting all of the Financial modules but primarily responsible for AP/Purchasing and Suppliers. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Financial Systems. Training for this position is in Fargo, ND.

Programmer Analyst Student Financials

Reporting to the Director of Campus Solutions, the Programmer Analysts group provides support for the North Dakota University Systems Campus Solutions and Data Warehouse in the ConnectND Oracle PeopleSoft ERP environments. This support includes the design, programming, implementation, production support and supplementary user consulting, as it pertains to the personal computer, client/server and web-based state-wide applications. The same support is given to various NDUS Ancillary systems by NDUS-CND programmer analyst staff. This position’s function is to support the NDUS ConnectND Oracle PeopleSoft applications and ancillary systems with emphasis on Campus Solutions and Data Warehouse applications by providing application development and system analysis skills. The location for this position will be in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
