Reporting to the Director of Campus Solutions, the Student Records / Third Party Systems Business Analyst is responsible for working with personnel from the 11 North Dakota University System Student Records offices / Third Party Systems and appropriate Board of Higher Education personnel in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the Campus Solutions system. The business analyst is expected to take a lead role in assigned projects and is responsible to ensure business requirements are defined and met. Although this is a non-technical position and many business problems have non-automated solutions, the business analyst requires a high level of technical aptitude to ensure accurate problem analysis. The business analyst is responsible for reviews of potential solutions including making the best use of the current system. This person acts as an effective liaison with technical staff, management, end-users and vendors. This person is responsible for ensuring system user needs are properly represented to technical staff and technical considerations are properly represented to the user community. This dual communication ensures the business analyst adequately represents both communities in decision making. This position is located in Grand Forks, ND.

The Server Administrator is responsible for assisting in the design, configuration, and maintenance of specialized computer software systems used in support of application and control systems; reviews and analyzes software packages and recommends optimum configurations; analyzes changes to determine impact on existing production systems, systems design, programming standards and operating procedures; assists staff in the use of systems software and linkage to application programs. Other responsibilities include problem determination and resolution and support of staff with respect to Active Directory and other identity repository systems. Work is performed under the general guidance and directions of an administrative superior. This position is located in Grand Forks, ND.
